Eichenauer electric flanged immersion heaters are cost effective and designed for long life and quick response times. Our electric heaters are energy efficient and don't require carbon offsets like fossil fuel and natural gas fired elements. They are easy to install, easy to maintain, and come in a number of material options. We also custom engineer elements to match your boiler specifications.
Our elements are ideal for heating liquids, gases, and generating steam. The design of the flanged heater consists of several hairpin bent tubular elements extending from the face of the flange. Each element contains a metallic sheath, an inner resistance wire and compacted magnesium oxide as the electric insulation material. The bent tubular elements are joined securely into the flange and bolted to a mating flange integral to the boiler.

Eichenauer manufactures custom engineered flanged immersion heaters built to meet specific OEM and industrial process heating requirements. Standard tubular element heater sheaths are available in 316Ti stainless steel or INCOLOY to help resist scaling, corrosion, and premature element failure in demanding applications. Optional chemical passivation is also available to further enhance corrosion resistance and sheath protection.
Materials and Configurations
Standard steel and stainless steel flanges are available in multiple configurations, including 2.5", 3.0", 4.5", 5.75", and 6" round flanges. Flanged heaters can also be built to customer specifications for voltage, kilowatt rating, immersion length, watt density, flange configuration, and application requirements. Inventory stocking programs and long-term production support are available for OEM and repeat production applications.
